Rev. Dr. Craig celebrates over 20 years in animal welfare, advocacy and rescue. Dr. Craig's service to animals has included vet tech support, humane education, field operations, and, of course, animal ministry. In addition to his ministry work, he most recently served as an Emergency Animal Medical Technician (paramedic for animals) and Cruelty Investigator for the Arizona Humane Society, which was featured on TV's Animal Planet (Animal Cops Phoenix.) Dr. Craig is the co-founder of One Voice --- Ministry in Motion, an outreach ministry dedicated to supporting the spiritual needs of animals and those who love them.

Rev. Dr. Kris Lecakes Haley is a national speaker and writer on the topic of Animals and Spirituality, currently blogging for an international animal organization on the subject. Dr. Kris’ background includes animal welfare, advocacy, spirituality, and ministry as well as organizational/program development consulting for animal organizations. Most recently, she served as the Manager of Humane Education for the Arizona Humane Society and as the Manager of Multifaith Outreach for Best Friends Animal Society. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and one of only a handful of certified Bach Flower Practitioners for Animals, registered with the Bach Centre in the U.K.

With Bachelors and Masters degrees in Religious Studies, Drs. Craig & Kris’ respective Doctorate degrees are in the pioneering field of Humane Religious Studies….part of a new degree program offered by Emerson Theological Institute that focuses on the spiritual nature of animals. They are also Ordained Animal Chaplains.
Dr. Craig and Dr. Kris are Co-founders of the Interfaith Council of Humane Leadership and have also founded PEACEANIMAL, an organization dedicated to expanding the concept of peace to include all species.
